Job summary

Simplexity Product Development, Inc. seeks a Senior Technical Project Manager with a mechanical/robotics background to drive prototype-build execution for a confidential robotic product at a client site in the Seattle area.

You will own build schedules across mechanical, electrical, firmware, test, and supplier teams, coordinating activities and delivering against committed dates in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technical project management experience with electromechanical hardware.
• Ability to evaluate work plans, dependencies, and realistic timelines.
• Proven track record creating structure and momentum in changing environments.
• Direct facilitation style to drive decisions and unblock execution.

Responsibilities

• Own coordination and delivery of prototype builds from design release through fabrication, assembly, integration, and test.
• Build and drive detailed schedules with milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Drive supplier deliverables: set dates, track progress, escalate risks early.
• Question estimates and push back when timelines aren’t credible; resolve ambiguity to reach closure.
• Convene the right people to resolve issues and accelerate decisions.
• Report milestone health, risks, and recovery plans to leadership.
