Job summary

Eastern Research Group, Inc. (ERG) seeks an experienced Senior Civil Design Engineer for on-site work at the Naval Support Facility, Indian Head, MD. You will develop civil designs for renovations and upgrades and oversee design packages from concept through delivery.

Responsibilities include technical reviews, preparing calculations, drawings, specs, and cost estimates, plus supporting proposals and stakeholder collaboration. A PE license is required or in progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years experience; 10+ preferred.
• Must have a PE license or be pursuing licensure.
• Experience reviewing facility designs for compliance with processes and permitting.

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements and technical review of design packages for renovations and upgrades.
• Prepare design packages (calculations, drawings, specs, cost estimates) for projects.
• Conduct technical reviews for codes and regulations and end-user needs.
• Provide input to proposal development for renovations.
• Support design process from concept to delivery of design package.
