Job summary

CapTech Consulting is seeking a Technical Project Manager in Reston, VA to lead cross-functional teams, manage large-scale technology engagements, and drive successful project outcomes. The role requires expertise across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and CRM/ERP implementations in a dynamic consulting environment.

You will coordinate stakeholders, develop integrated plans, and apply best practices from agile and traditional methodologies while guiding teams across on-site and remote settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated success leading Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform implementations with a CRM/ERP project portfolio.
• Experience creating process flows, data flows, sequence diagrams or system diagrams.
• Understanding how MS Dynamics and Power Platform integrate with other Enterprise components (e.g., Salesforce).
• Experience in both Agile and traditional project or program management.
• Proven track record of managing large, complex technology projects.
• Experience facilitating stakeholder discussions and driving outcomes.
• Minimum 6 years in project or program management, preferably with full lifecycle Agile.
• Creativity in solving technical/business problems and strong client credibility.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead diverse teams across locations (remote/on-site).

Responsibilities

• Serve as delivery lead for cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes.
• Apply and adapt best practices from Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid models.
• Establish partnerships with stakeholders to enable decision making.
• Demonstrate track record of delivering large, complex consulting engagements.
• Develop and communicate integrated project plans with milestones and risks.
• Identify and mitigate risks to project delivery and triage issues.
• Perform hands-on delivery work as needed (analysis, design, process engineering).
• Share knowledge and develop a community of project managers and leaders.
• Provide account management or related experience to manage client relationships.
