Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a Senior Technical Lead to drive scalable infrastructure, platform reliability, and modern engineering practices. Lead cloud-native solutions, CI/CD automation, observability initiatives, and agentic AI workflows across enterprise platforms.

The role requires hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Python, Azure, and infrastructure automation, to improve developer productivity, platform stability, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable DevOps and SRE solutions.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Develop automation frameworks and tooling with Python and Bash.
• Manage Kubernetes environments including deployment, scaling, and configuration.
• Implement agent-based workflows across GitHub and Azure ecosystems.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Technical Lead with deep expertise in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Kubernetes, and Python automation to help drive scalable infrastructure, platform reliability, and modern engineering practices. This role will lead the design and implementation of cloud-native solutions, CI/CD automation, observability initiatives, and next-generation agentic AI workflows across enterprise platforms.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Python development, Azure platforms, and infrastructure automation, combined with a passion for improving developer productivity, platform stability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable DevOps and SRE solutions supporting mission-critical applications.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and modern automation practices.
• Develop automation frameworks and operational tooling using Python and Bash scripting.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes environments including deployment strategies, scaling, configuration management, and cluster operations.
• Implement and support agent-based workflows across GitHub and Azure ecosystems.
• Establish best practices for API lifecycle management, including:
• OpenAPI specifications
• Semantic versioning
• Drive platform governance through policy enforcement, compliance controls, and operational standards.
• Integrate observability and monitoring capabilities using Datadog or similar platforms.
• Collaborate with software engineering, cloud, security, and platform teams to improve reliability and operational efficiency.
• Lead technical initiatives, architectural discussions, and platform modernization efforts.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $78000/year

Pay Range Maximum: $115000 /year
