Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of application development, systems integration, or software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of technical leadership experience leading development teams or large-scale technology initiatives.
• Experience designing and supporting enterprise applications in complex environments.
• Strong experience with .NET / C#, REST APIs, SQL, system integrations and middleware technologies, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps, cloud and SaaS architectures, Git/GitLab.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical strategy and architecture for REC Originations applications and integrations.
• Design scalable, secure, maintainable solutions for CRE lending processes.
• Define architecture standards, integration patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to improve efficiency and reduce technical debt.
• Provide leadership for modernization and cloud/SaaS initiatives.
• Lead development, enhancements, and support across the REC technology ecosystem.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and review designs, code, and deployment plans.
• Enforce coding standards, testing strategies, CI/CD, and security requirements.
• Participate in design reviews, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Serve as SMEs for Moody's CreditLens and REC applications; support integrations with internal platforms.
• Drive solutions for deal intake, underwriting, covenant tracking, and portfolio management.
• Collaborate with business and vendors on roadmap opportunities.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote Agile practices.
