LinkedIn is seeking a Senior Technical Investigator in Mountain View, CA, with a hybrid work model. You will lead investigations to mitigate account takeover and abuse, develop detection rules, and collaborate with product, engineering and data science to strengthen login security and recovery experiences.

The role requires 5+ years in threat investigations and proficiency in SQL/Python for data analysis, with the ability to mentor others within a fast-paced, global team.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience with scripting or data analysis tools (SQL, Python, or similar).
• 5+ years of proactive threat investigations in trust & safety, account security or related fields.
• 3+ years experience with investigation techniques/tools and handling diverse data sets.

Responsabilidades

• Lead root-cause investigations into complex account security campaigns from leads to resolution.
• Serve as incident commander for major account-compromise incidents and coordinate response.
• Generate proactive investigative leads and track emerging threat activity relevant to account authenticity, security and trust.
• Develop detection rules and data pipelines tuned to ATO patterns and MFA bypass.
• Partner with Engineering/Data Science to refine analysis and mitigations.
• Mentor other investigators and share best practices.
