Job summary

Google is hiring a Staff Technical Threat Investigator in Trust and Safety Intel Investigations in Washington, DC. You will identify the highest-severity on-platform abuse and conduct deep technical investigative analysis to drive cross-Product Area detection, mitigation and remediation across Google's ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 7 years of data analysis experience in cybersecurity or investigations.
• 7 years of SQL, Python or similar to query data and build pipelines.
• 7 years of project management across globally distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify highest-severity on-platform T&S abuse and conduct technical investigative analysis to drive cross-Product Area detection and remediation.
• Hunt threat actors, understand objectives on Google products, and deploy network disruptions and scaled enforcement measures.
• Lead multi-quarter investigations, design modular automation and data pipelines, and mentor analysts.
