Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience in cyber security, criminal justice, or related fields.
• 3+ years investigating account, behavior, or content abuse in trust and safety or online platforms.
• Experience writing SQL queries to access and analyze large-scale datasets.
• Experience using Python or another scripting language to automate workflows.
• Familiarity with open-source investigation techniques and diverse research tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations into coordinated campaigns and abuse networks from initial lead through pivot analysis across signals.
• Track persistent abuse patterns and actors, including post-enforcement evolution.
• Hunt for undetected abuse using platform signals, OSS research, and threat intelligence.
• Define and validate detection logic; collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Data Science on implementation.
• Drive large-scale enforcement and measure false positives after action.
• Triage signals and provide escalation analysis on high-severity incidents.
• Produce threat intelligence reports and risk recommendations for strategic investments.
• Use AI-assisted workflows and notebooks to scale investigation and evaluate AI outputs.
• Write SQL queries to test hypotheses and support enforcement decisions.
• Build tooling and playbooks to scale investigative methodology.
