Job summary

7AI, Inc. is seeking a Tier 3 Security Analyst to serve as the technical leader and escalation point for junior analysts, analyzing and triaging investigations from 7AI Agents to reduce customer risk.

You will correlate data from cloud, endpoint, identity, and network sources, hunt for threats, and help architect scalable processes for a high‑performing security operation. The role emphasizes collaboration and customer-focused security outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cyber security operations.
• Hands-on experience investigating alerts across multiple sources (endpoint, network, identity, email, cloud).
• Strong understanding of security monitoring tools (XDR, SIEM, IDS/IPS, IDP).
• Familiarity with log / telemetry concepts.
• Experience analyzing security alerts from multiple sources including IDS/IPS and endpoints.
• Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and incident triage methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; verify AI-driven analysis.
• Data querying experience with SPL, KQL, SQL and familiarity with logs/telemetry.
• Strong malware analysis methods.
• Great interpersonal skills with a service oriented mindset.
• Proven track record of collaborating in a team and mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and validate investigations completed by the AI Agents for accuracy and completeness, evaluating risk.
• Lead and mentor junior analysts and serve as the technical expert and escalation point.
• Correlate data from cloud, endpoint, identity, network, and other sources to form a full activity picture.
• Investigate malicious activity the 7AI Agents responded to and understand the attack complexity and risk averted.
• Use AI Agents to hunt in customer environments and contribute to detections and remediation.
• Assist customers with ongoing threat monitoring, triage, and prioritization of security alerts during incidents.
• Identify potential threats by reviewing logs and anomalous findings.
• Engage with customers at varying technical levels using strong communication skills.
• Architect scalable processes to sustain high-quality operations as the team grows.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Product to improve the AI platform and customer experience.
• Stay current with emerging cybersecurity trends, vulnerabilities, and AI-driven attack techniques.
