Job summary

Google LLC in Washington, DC is seeking a Senior Technical Threat Investigator to join Trust and Safety Intel Investigations. You will identify high‑severity on‑platform abuse, conduct technical investigations, and drive cross‑Product Area detection, mitigation, and enforcement.

You will lead complex investigations, prototype AI‑enabled workflows, build data pipelines with SQL and Python, and partner with Engineering, Data Science, and Policy teams to reduce risk across Google's products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in data analysis, cybersecurity, or technical threat investigations.
• 5+ years using SQL, Python or similar to query data and build pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Identify highest-severity and emerging abuse on-platform and conduct investigations.
• Lead cross-Product Area detection, mitigation and remediation efforts.
• Prototype automation and AI-enabled investigative workflows with engineering partners.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, Product, Policy, and leadership to drive outcomes.
• Review and communicate complex findings to diverse stakeholders.
