Job summary

Amazon Inc. seeks a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager to own material handling projects across its network, guiding initiatives from initiation to handover within the Project Lifecycle Framework.

You will lead cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and controls, partnering with WWDE and Operations Engineering to manage budgets and schedules and drive standardization across building types (ARS, SSD, AMZL, IXD, 1DC, RDC).

Qualifications

• Experience in contract management.
• Travel up to 50% of the time.
• Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience demonstrating increasing levels of project value and complexity, across multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with completion of medium sized projects (up to $40M) in Construction or Material Handling.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% (weekday travel).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single-threaded leader for material handling system implementation programs, driving end-to-end execution across mechanical, electrical, controls, and operations requirements.
• Lead a multi-disciplined team and subcontractors; manage conflicts, priorities, and sequencing; develop team members and provide project leadership.
• Manage the project master schedule, administrative, contractual, technical, and financial aspects; hold internal teams and vendors accountable.
• Drive cross-functional communications and strategic planning for material handling deployment; define KPIs and standardization initiatives.
• Define and continuously improve technical standards, deployment methodologies, and playbooks for material handling implementations.
• Coordinate across mechanical, electrical, and controls disciplines to ensure requirements and performance metrics are met.
• Manage technical partnerships with OEMs and 3P engineering firms for optimal design and commissioning.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks in design, integration, and implementation.
• Drive commercial and technical strategy to increase velocity while maintaining quality and execution excellence.
