Job summary

NCR Voyix is seeking a Senior Technical Implementation Specialist to drive end-to-end deployments in Irving, TX (and Atlanta, GA). You will install, configure, test, and troubleshoot solutions at client sites, while aligning with project managers, sales, and customers on scope and timelines.

You will mentor junior staff, deliver training, and produce comprehensive documentation. The role requires strong networking and database skills, and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years in technical implementation or related field.
• Experience deploying and configuring complex enterprise software.
• Strong networking and database knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls; SQL Server/Oracle).
• Experience with Windows Server and Linux.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python) a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) a plus.
• Willingness to travel to client sites (up to 50%).

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the technical implementation of NCR VOYIX solutions, including software installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting at client sites.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, sales teams, and clients to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop detailed implementation plans.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions with clients to understand their existing infrastructure and integrate NCR VOYIX solutions seamlessly.
• Provide expert-level technical support during the implementation phase, resolving complex issues and escalating as necessary.
• Develop and deliver technical training to clients and internal teams on solution functionality and administration.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including implementation guides, configuration manuals, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Act as a subject matter expert for NCR VOYIX products and services, staying up-to-date with new releases and technologies.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior implementation specialists.
• Participate in pre-sales activities, assisting with technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
• Ensure all implementations adhere to NCR VOYIX standards, best practices, and security policies.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of experience in the role or a related field.
• Proven expertise in deploying and configuring complex enterprise software applications.
• Strong understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls) and database technologies (SQL Server, Oracle).
• Experience with operating systems such as Windows Server and Linux.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required (up to 50%).
