Job summary

NCR Voyix seeks a Senior Technical Implementation Specialist to lead deployment of complex software/hardware for enterprise clients, onsite in Irving, TX or Atlanta, GA. You will coordinate with PMs, sales, and customers to define scope, install, configure, test, and troubleshoot solutions, and train users.

Apply your networking, DB, and scripting expertise (PowerShell/Python) while mentoring junior teammates and contributing to pre-sales demonstrations. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of experience in the role or related field.
• Experience deploying and configuring complex enterprise software.
• Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls) and databases (SQL Server, Oracle).
• Experience with Windows Server and Linux.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
• PowerShell or Python scripting experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the technical implementation of NCR VOYIX solutions, including software installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting at client sites.
• Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and clients to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop detailed implementation plans.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions with clients to understand their existing infrastructure and integrate NCR VOYIX solutions seamlessly.
• Provide expert-level technical support during the implementation phase, resolving complex issues and escalating as necessary.
• Develop and deliver technical training to clients and internal teams on solution functionality and administration.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including implementation guides, configuration manuals, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Act as a subject matter expert for NCR VOYIX products and services, staying up-to-date with new releases and technologies.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior implementation specialists.
• Participate in pre-sales activities, assisting with technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
• Ensure all implementations adhere to NCR VOYIX standards, best practices, and security policies.
