Job summary

NCR Voyix is seeking a Senior Technical Implementation Specialist to lead deployment and integration of complex software/hardware solutions for enterprise clients. You will own end-to-end implementations, coordinate with project managers, sales, and clients, and deliver expert guidance and training.

The role requires strong networking, databases, Windows/Linux, scripting, and cloud familiarity, with up to 50% travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years in technical implementation or a related field.
• Experience deploying and configuring complex enterprise software.
• Strong understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls) and databases (SQL Server, Oracle).
• Experience with Windows Server and Linux OS.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical implementation of NCR Voyix solutions at client sites, including installation, configuration, testing and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with project managers, sales, and clients to define scope and develop implementation plans.
• Conduct technical discovery to understand client infra and integrate NCR Voyix solutions.
• Provide expert-level technical support during implementation and escalate as needed.
• Develop and deliver technical training for clients and internal teams.
• Create and maintain technical docs including guides and troubleshooting procedures.
• Stay current with product updates and act as SME for NCR Voyix products.
• Mentor junior implementation specialists and share best practices.
• Assist with pre-sales activities and technical demonstrations to prospects.
• Ensure all implementations adhere to NCR Voyix standards and security policies.

As a Senior Technical Implementation Specialist at NCR VOYIX, you will lead the successful deployment and integration of our complex software and hardware solutions for enterprise clients, ensuring high-quality delivery and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the technical implementation of NCR VOYIX solutions, including software installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting at client sites.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, sales teams, and clients to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop detailed implementation plans.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions with clients to understand their existing infrastructure and integrate NCR VOYIX solutions seamlessly.
• Provide expert-level technical support during the implementation phase, resolving complex issues and escalating as necessary.
• Develop and deliver technical training to clients and internal teams on solution functionality and administration.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including implementation guides, configuration manuals, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Act as a subject matter expert for NCR VOYIX products and services, staying up-to-date with new releases and technologies.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior implementation specialists.
• Participate in pre-sales activities, assisting with technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
• Ensure all implementations adhere to NCR VOYIX standards, best practices, and security policies.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of experience in the role or a related field.
• Proven expertise in deploying and configuring complex enterprise software applications.
• Strong understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls) and database technologies (SQL Server, Oracle).
• Experience with operating systems such as Windows Server and Linux.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required (up to 50%).
