Job summary

Wiz, Inc. is seeking a Technical Escalation & Incident Response Engineer in New York to own complex technical escalations and lead Product Incident Response.

You will bridge customer-facing, Product, and R&D teams, identifying systemic risks and aligning regulated and commercial environments. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in engineering, CS, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in technical escalations, production support, SRE, incident response, or similar.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting cloud infrastructure, APIs, networking, authentication, data pipelines, and distributed systems by analyzing logs and traces.

Responsibilities

• Triage and own complex escalations from intake through resolution, including investigation and documentation.
• Assess impact, route appropriately, communicate with stakeholders, and drive fixes.
• Coordinate with FedRAMP/IL4 teams during incidents affecting federal agencies for notifications and root cause analyses.
• Keep commercial and regulated environments aligned, tracking features, fixes, configurations, and data separation requirements.
• Own run books, playbooks, and escalation processes to improve operational metrics and severity criteria.
• Build compliant AI-assisted tools for escalation intake, investigation, routing, and summarization.
• Run back-office operations like tenant provisioning, licensing, entitlements, and access changes with full audit trails.
