Job summary

Wiz, Inc. is seeking an Escalation Expert to join the CTO team and tackle the most challenging customer issues. You will analyze complex problems, provide feedback to shape the product, and help build internal tooling with an emphasis on AI-powered capabilities.

You will work closely with engineering and product teams, own critical escalations, and contribute to knowledge content and tool development while supporting customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience and certifications.
• 7+ years in a senior customer-facing role such as Escalation Engineer or related.
• 3+ years of in-depth experience with a major cloud platform.
• Proficiency in reading, debugging, and writing code in Python, Go, Java, Shell, or JavaScript.
• Proficiency with Git and source code management systems.
• Proficiency with REST APIs or GraphQL.
• Proficiency with command-line tools and Linux environments.
• Fast learner with curiosity, strong tech interest, and ability to work independently.
• Deep understanding of web technologies (HTTP, HTML, DNS).
• Experience leveraging AI tools to increase task efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the most challenging customer technical problems and perform deep-diving troubleshooting to drive resolution.
• Identify potential escalations and advocate for customers, influencing product and engineering roadmaps.
• Author and publish technical troubleshooting content for internal and external use.
• Lead the development of internal tools and processes for your product area and promote adoption.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to handle critical escalations and support tooling.
