Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Technical Director for GEV Consulting Services to lead advanced technical studies in electric power systems, acting as a subject-matter expert and technical authority. The role emphasizes expanding the consulting footprint in Data Center and Renewable Energy Integration markets while supporting business development and collaboration with customers and internal leaders.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Electrical/Systems/Power Engineering with extensive power industry experience.
Experience with power electronics, FACTS, and data centers or large industrial setups.
Experience in consulting or OEM utilities with engineering analysis and mentoring.

Responsibilities

Lead and conduct technical analysis in a team setting related to power electronic and power systems control of renewable generation, FACTS, battery energy storage systems and Data Centers.
Identify scope of studies and modeling efforts required to solve technical challenges and prepare proposals with other contributors.
Develop industry-leading processes and standards for study approaches, model development and benchmarking.
Establish rapport with key industry stakeholders and facilitate new working/business relationships.
Oversee work of technical teams and coordinate with other directors to maintain/improve quality.
Engage with industry groups and lead CS involvement; mentor and guide team members.
