Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Buyer to join its rapidly growing team at Quonset Point, Rhode Island. You will manage procurement, work with engineering, finance, and manufacturing to accelerate programs, and launch new products with strong procure-to-pay focus.

The ideal candidate has extensive manufacturing procurement experience, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills with strong relationship management and negotiation abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work across functions and borders in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear understanding of design specifications and problem-solving abilities.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Create, issue, and manage purchase orders to meet production and program needs.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, monitor performance, and resolve quality, delivery, and pricing issues.
• Resolve supply chain disruptions and keep projects on track.
• Monitor and expedite orders to meet deadlines and production schedules.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and program teams to align procurement with goals.
• Maintain records, track KPIs, and streamline processes.
• Support sourcing strategy development for direct commodities.
