Job summary

Hiscox in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to strengthen our US IT capabilities. You will translate business requirements into technical specifications, write user stories, and support UAT for complex digital initiatives across internal and third-party systems.

You will partner with product owners, SMEs, and developers, deliver high‑quality artifacts, and help optimize the end‑to‑end delivery lifecycle in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years in enterprise application technical analysis.
• Experience eliciting, documenting, and delivering high‑quality analysis artifacts.
• Ability to write clear, testable user stories communicating stakeholder needs to development.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize and maintain product backlog.
• Experience developing and executing comprehensive test cases (functional & non‑functional).
• Experience with SQL queries and data validation.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into functional and non‑functional technical specifications and solutions.
• Produce high‑quality analyst artifacts (user stories, specs, prototypes).
• Conduce solution design walkthroughs and product demonstrations; document feedback.
• Validate solutions via UAT and support testing, triage, and defect reviews.
• Build strong relationships with sponsors, SMEs, IT, and third-party stakeholders.
• Drive continual improvements in delivery of technical changes within area of influence.
