Job summary

Maximus seeks an experienced oversight leader to provide independent technical oversight and QA support for large-scale modernization initiatives. You will assess architecture, design, software development, testing, data management, system performance, and readiness to inform decisions.

You will collaborate with project managers and executives, track progress, and ensure on-time, on-spec delivery while managing risks. Travel 30-50% may be required for client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience supporting large-scale technology modernization, systems integration, software delivery, PMO, QA, IV&V, or oversight engagements.
• Experience evaluating solution architecture, software development, testing, system integration, and release management.
• Strong stakeholder engagement with executives, project managers, technical teams, and vendors.
• Experience with cloud-based solutions, data migration, systems integration, and enterprise application modernization preferred.
• Experience supporting government, health and human services, or other highly regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers to track progress and provide support.
• Support leadership to ensure delivery to specifications, on time, and within budget.
• Maintain work plan documents and track due dates.
• Manage relationships with project staff and stakeholders.
• Produce weekly/monthly status reports with key metrics.
