Job summary

BHDP Architecture seeks a Senior Architect to lead technical delivery on complex projects, mentoring teams, and enforcing design intent. The role emphasizes disciplined coordination, risk management, and clear documentation to ensure buildable, well-coordinated solutions that meet client goals.

You will drive QA/QC at milestones, document decisions, and partner with the Project Manager to manage risks, options, and impacts while elevating team performance and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture degree (NAAB accredited preferred).
• Licensed Architect.
• 12+ years in design/architecture industry.
• Advanced Revit knowledge; independently deliver defined drawing packages and teach best practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide project-specific technical leadership by setting clear expectations and ownership.
• Act as primary project technical expert and risk steward, documenting decisions.
• Lead QA/QC at milestones and resolve critical comments before issuance.
• Assign owners and due dates; ensure on-time delivery and documented decisions.
• Deliver high-quality technical solutions and standardize repeatable approaches.
• Coach Architects and Designers; develop growth goals and performance inputs.
• Ensure compliance with BHDP platforms and digital standards (Revit templates, naming protocols).
• Prevent rework through disciplined coordination and early issue resolution.
