Job summary

Integrus is seeking a Technical Architect to lead the technical development of complex, mid- to large-scale projects, translating design concepts into high-performing solutions. You will guide design development through construction, mentoring teams and elevating firm-wide technical standards.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure code compliance, QA/QC, and collaboration across disciplines while advancing innovation and sustainability in the built environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture from an accredited program.
• Current architectural licensure required.
• 15+ years of professional architectural experience.
• Extensive knowledge of building codes, accessibility (ADA), life safety, building systems.
• Experience coordinating complex building projects through all phases of design and construction.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and BIM-integrated project delivery.
• Strong interdisciplinary coordination, constructability, QA/QC processes.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to mentor and guide project teams while elevating technical standards across the firm.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical development of complex projects through design, documentation, and construction; align with goals and firm standards.
• Understand delivery method differences (DB, GC/CM, DBB).
• Serve as a technical authority on systems, constructability, code compliance, detailing, and docs.
• Lead QA/QC reviews and promote best practices across teams.
• Guide technical decision-making balancing performance, cost, schedule, sustainability.
• Provide expertise on codes, life safety, accessibility, permitting strategies.
• Evaluate building systems/materials to support design and durability.
• Collaborate with leadership, designers, consultants to resolve technical challenges.
• Support construction administration (RFIs, submittals, field observations).
• Stay current on tech and codes; share knowledge; advance standards.
