Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Technical Architect or Technical Architect Director in Seattle to act as a strategic advisor and platform expert for large enterprise clients. You will lead multi-cloud architecture across applications, data, integration, and security to shape roadmaps and reduce technical debt.

You will guide engineers and architects, mentor teams, and partner with C-level executives to drive business value using Salesforce implementations and AI-powered tooling.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise architecture or consulting experience (10+ years for Director level).
• 4+ years leading Salesforce Core Projects (Director level: 2-5 years of direct people management additionally required).
• Strong application design skills with data, integration, and security architecture expertise.
• Strong presentation and communication skills—able to defend a point of view to C-level audiences.
• Proven ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration.
• Agile methodology fluency and a collaborative, high-integrity leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted strategic advisor and Salesforce platform expert to C-level stakeholders at high-profile enterprise clients.
• Architect multi-cloud technology solutions across application, data, integration, and security domains.
• Guide and lead cross-functional teams of architects and developers; Director level includes people management.
• Facilitate executive workshops, drive program governance, and manage partner/customer negotiations.
• Identify and proactively manage risk areas, driving resolution.
• Review project direction and keep programs on track with maintainable solutions.
• Guide customers in adopting emerging technologies that drive business value.
• Lead internal initiatives to grow the consulting practice and share knowledge.
