Harting USA is seeking a Senior Technical Application Consultant to be based in Elgin, Illinois, operating in a hybrid model. The role focuses on embedded, customer-facing technical expertise for a strategic hyperscale data center account, driving design collaboration and rapid-response engineering support.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in application or field engineering or product development.
• Ability to translate requirements into solutions.
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical contact and respond to engineering needs.
• Triage issues and drive resolution across internal teams.
• Support new product designs and system-level architecture discussions.
• Travel 30-40% and obtain passport for international travel.
