Job summary

People Can Fly is seeking a Senior Technical Animator to establish and maintain production pipelines, rig characters, creatures, and props in Maya, including cloth, physics, and hair setups. Collaborate with the Lead to meet deadlines.

You'll develop retargeting tools, contribute to pipeline tooling, and support the team technically, leveraging Maya, Python, Houdini, and physics simulation experience on AAA projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Technical Animation or similar, with involvement in at least 2 production titles.
• Expert knowledge of Maya and rigging/skinning, strong Python, and knowledge of Houdini.
• Experienced in physics simulation on cloth, hair, and other items, with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the production pipeline and meet deadlines in collaboration with the Lead.
• Implement high-quality rigging and skinning for characters, creatures, and props in Maya, including cloth, physics, and hair setups.
• Develop retargeting tools, share ownership of pipeline tools, and support the team technically.
