Westlake Chemical Corporation in Longview, Texas is seeking a Senior Technical Analyst to support and optimize the site's Information Systems and Information Technology applications and infrastructure that integrate with manufacturing and business operations. This role acts as the site subject matter expert for critical applications, databases, interfaces, servers, and related systems.

Qualifications

College degree in computer science or computer engineering.
8+ years of software development and administration experience.
8 years of experience in a manufacturing plant environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Administer and maintain business-critical applications and relational databases.
Develop and maintain web-based application interfaces.
Monitor system performance, application interfaces, and critical services.
Troubleshoot and resolve application, server, database, and interface issues.
Manage support tickets, incidents, and service requests from business users.
Coordinate software updates, testing, and change management activities.
Ensure appropriate application security, access controls, and audit compliance.
Develop and deliver user training and maintain training materials.
Provide hands-on support and technical guidance to site personnel.
