Job summary

ORIX USA is seeking a senior accounting professional to manage all aspects of technical accounting for the company and its subsidiaries. The role emphasizes accounting policy, coordination with satellite offices, and collaboration with auditors to ensure accurate reporting under US GAAP.

Ideal candidates hold a CPA, have 6–10 years of accounting experience, and can handle multiple deadlines in a hybrid work environment with a strong emphasis on timely financial statements for SEC-reported

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of accounting and reporting experience.
• Public accounting experience (Big 4 strongly preferred).
• CPA (certified public accountant) is required.
• Deep understanding of US GAAP technical accounting (CECL, Goodwill, Consolidation, Transfers, Derivatives).
• Experience with timely and accurate reporting and financial statements under US GAAP for an SEC registrant subsidiary is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited four-year university.
• Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; attention to detail; strong analytical skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines; manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Flexibility and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines; adjust priorities in a rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of technical accounting for OCU and subsidiaries, including research and applying new accounting guidance.
• Responsible for Accounting Policy.
• Coordinate with satellite offices to ensure consistent conclusions and review memos.
• Collaborate with external and internal auditors on accounting issues/questions.
• Other projects and duties as assigned.
