You will oversee research, memos, SOX controls, and workpapers for Form 10-Q/10-K, ensuring audit readiness and strong internal controls while collaborating with external auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant Big 4 public accounting background.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting; ability to research and write memos.
• Experience in stock-based compensation (ASC 718), leases (ASC 842), revenue (ASC 606), debt, and business combinations.
• Public company experience with SOX controls and external audit process.
• Fintech or SaaS industry experience is a plus.
• Experience with NetSuite/Oracle and Workiva; advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Research and evaluate non-recurring transactions; document conclusions in technical memos.
• Monitor emerging accounting pronouncements and update policies.
• Prepare analyses and memos covering ASC 606, ASC 718, ASC 842, EPS, debt, equity, and investments.
• Review chart of accounts and ensure alignment with financial statements.
• Assist in Form 10-Q/10-K workpapers; include EPS and stock-based compensation items.
• Maintain and test SOX controls; support external auditors with walkthroughs.
• Forecast stock-based compensation with compensation team.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Legal, and business teams on new transactions.
