Grafana Labs is seeking a Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager to join our global Finance team. You will steer GAAP-compliant financial reporting, support the external audit, and strengthen internal controls across quarterly and annual closes.

You will own complex, high-judgment accounting areas, conduct technical research, and translate standards into clear memos and policies. This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration in a fast-growing, remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting.
• Ability to handle high-judgment accounting areas with strong documentation.
• Experience communicating technical accounting findings to stakeholders.
• CPA certification or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and/or review financial statements, work papers, and disclosures for GAAP reporting.
• Own quarterly and annual financial reporting controls and evidence of operation.
• Lead review of complex areas (e.g., commissions) during close process.
• Conduct technical accounting research and draft memos.
• Evaluate new accounting standards and update accounting policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and support external audits.
