Job summary

RGP seeks experienced Technical Accounting professionals in the Charlotte market to support clients on complex accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and transformation initiatives in a hybrid environment.

As a consultant, you will bring strong technical accounting expertise, sound judgment, and a hands-on approach while partnering with client accounting and finance teams. CPA license and a Bachelor's degree are required, with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with technical focus.
• Experience with SEC reporting and external disclosures.
• Strong Excel and financial systems skills.
• Public accounting background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support complex accounting matters and financial reporting.
• Assist with SOX controls and documentation.
• Prepare memos, position papers, and supporting materials.
• Engage with client accounting and finance teams in hybrid setting.
• Provide guidance on revenue recognition, leases, and consolidations.
