NextPath Workforce Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client's team in Concord, NC. This hybrid, direct-hire role offers responsibility for the full accounting function and close processes.

The ideal candidate has strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, public accounting experience or CPA license, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to implement controls and data-driven improvements. Visa sponsorship is not available; US work authorization is required.

Formación

• Active CPA license required if no public accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement prep.
• Excel and data analysis skills; familiarity with AI for automation a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Manage month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Coordinate sales and use tax compliance and financial reporting.
• Investigate discrepancies and improve processes and controls.
• Support budgeting, audits, tax compliance, and year-end reporting.
