Coder is seeking a Senior Technical Accountant to own complex revenue and equity accounting, consolidation, and external reporting. You’ll translate FASB ASC guidance into clear conclusions, draft policy memos, and partner with Finance, Legal, Sales Ops, and external auditors.

Lead technical workstreams, prepare quarterly Board/investor materials, support SOX controls, and help scale the accounting function across markets and entities. Strong communication and judgment are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Active CPA.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with substantial hands-on technical work.
• Big Four or public accounting audit experience.
• Deep knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Experience with stock-based compensation accounting under ASC 718.
• Hands-on experience preparing or reviewing consolidated financial statements.
• Experience working with multinational companies or multi-entity structures.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to manage large data sets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Own the technical accounting analysis for complex revenue arrangements, including contract modifications, variable consideration, new product offerings, SSP considerations, and other non-routine transactions.
• Research and document accounting positions translating FASB ASC guidance into clear, supported conclusions.
• Draft, maintain, and evolve ASC 606 revenue recognition policies and related playbooks.
• Partner with Corporate Accounting on complex revenue matters affecting period-end reporting.
• Advise Finance, Legal, Sales Operations, and Product on accounting implications of business decisions and new offerings.
• Prepare and review quarterly stock-based compensation accounting, including disclosures and variance analysis.
• Prepare group financial statements, including consolidation and entity-level reporting for multinational structures.
• Prepare Controllership’s quarterly reporting for Board and investors and ensure alignment with underlying financials.
• Collaborate with FP&A and Finance leadership to ensure accuracy in Board materials.
• Evaluate accounting implications as Coder operates across jurisdictions and liaise with experts.
