Job summary

CFS is seeking a Sr. Accountant – Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting to own the technical accounting and SEC reporting function. You will be at the center of decision making with visibility to leadership and will influence policies and processes.

You'll support monthly close, prepare 10-Q and 10-K, research technical accounting matters, ensure SEC compliance and SOX, and partner across finance and operations. This role offers a strong benefits package including 401k match and unlimited PTO.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting or finance experience (public accounting preferred).
• 3+ years of SEC reporting experience (10-Q / 10-K).
• 3+ years applying complex accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly close, consolidation, and financial reporting processes.
• Research and document technical accounting matters and white papers.
• Ensure compliance with SEC, US GAAP, and SOX requirements.
• Prepare and support 10-Q and 10-K filings and disclosures.
• Develop accounting policies and implement new accounting standards.
