Job summary

Marshmallow is seeking a senior Controllership professional to own complex accounting areas across the Group, including SPV structures, UK insurance broking, and car finance. The role reports to the Group Financial Controller and requires engaging with auditors and senior stakeholders while building scalable controls.

The successful candidate will lead policy documentation, drive revenue recognition improvements, and coach junior finance colleagues in a fast-growing environment with London

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA or equivalent fully qualified with post-qualification experience in technical accounting.
• Insurance industry knowledge is essential; understanding earned premium and technical provisions is needed.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain group accounting policies across entities in scope.
• Lead the Group's FRS 102/IFRS transition and revenue recognition work.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations for external audit and interact with auditors.
