LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Technical Accountant in Dallas, TX, to bolster a growing, private-equity-backed organization. The role focuses on researching complex accounting issues, supporting acquisitions, and strengthening financial reporting processes.

Ideal candidate has strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, CPA progress, and at least five years in public or corporate accounting, with Excel and reporting systems proficiency.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• CPA designation or progress toward CPA certification.
• Minimum five years of experience in public accounting, audit, technical accounting, advisory, or corporate accounting.
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and experience researching and documenting complex accounting conclusions.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred: acquisitions, SEC reporting, debt accounting, stock-based compensation, SOX/internal controls, or accounting system implementations.

Mansioni

• Research complex accounting matters and prepare technical accounting memorandums under U.S. GAAP.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, disclosures, and reporting processes.
• Assist with acquisition accounting, business combinations, debt and equity transactions, and stock-based compensation.
• Develop accounting policies, document internal controls, and improve accounting processes.
• Coordinate external audits and prepare supporting schedules and documentation.
• Support system implementations, process improvements, and other strategic accounting initiatives.
