LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing organization in Dallas. The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably from public accounting, with a strong foundation in U.S.

GAAP and financial reporting. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, supporting acquisitions and debt/equity transactions, and collaborating with leadership to enhance controls and processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, with public accounting experience strongly preferred.
• CPA designation or active progress toward CPA certification strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles.

Responsabilités

• Research and analyze complex accounting matters under U.S. GAAP.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and disclosures.
• Support acquisitions, debt and equity transactions, and stock-based compensation.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve accounting policies and reporting processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors and assist with audit requests.
• Strengthen internal controls over financial reporting.
• Evaluate new accounting standards and implement applicable guidance.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy.
• Work with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives and system implementations.
