Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant for our Lewisville, TX office. The role offers a hybrid work schedule with three days in the office and two remote days, and requires strong GAAP knowledge, a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, and CPA consideration.

You will prepare journal entries, consolidate financial statements, support external auditors, analyze account fluctuations, and collaborate across locations to ensure accurate general ledger activity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• CPA or working toward CPA is preferred.
• Experience with multi-location accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares journal entries, maintains records, and reconciles accounts in accordance with GAAP for corporate and subsidiaries.
• Prepares consolidated and subsidiary financial statements and reporting packages.
• Retrieve documentation and support for external auditors and tax specialists.
• Analyze fluctuations in accounts from period to period for balance sheet and income statement.
• Coordinate with multiple locations to understand activity impacting the general ledger.
• Prepare key metrics for management review.
• Assist on ad-hoc projects and adapt in a fast-growing organization.
