inKind is seeking a Lead Accountant in Austin, TX to strengthen technical accounting, financial reporting, and close processes. You will serve as a technical accounting resource across Finance, evaluating complex transactions, establishing policies, and ensuring GAAP compliance in a fast-growing fintech/hospitality tech environment.

Qualifikationen

• Strong foundation in technical accounting and U.S. GAAP developed in Big 4 or similar firm.
• Ability to research, document, and communicate complex accounting conclusions.
• Experience preparing technical memoranda and supporting accounting positions.
• Understanding of financial statements, GL, month-end close, and reporting.

Aufgaben

• Serve as a key technical accounting resource for the Finance organization under U.S. GAAP.
• Assess accounting implications of new products, contracts, and complex transactions.
• Prepare technical memoranda and position papers for management and auditors.
• Develop and improve accounting policies and procedures as scale grows.
• Support preparation and review of financial statements and schedules.
• Lead elements of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
