Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CMA or CPA certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of accounting/finance experience
• SAP experience preferred
• Understanding of GAAP and financial statement prep/analysis
• Proven ability to drive corporate accounting processes (cash management, AR/AP, month-end close, payroll)
• Strong communication and professional interaction
• Hands-on approach to deliverables on time with high quality

Responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions
• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile account balances and bank statements; maintain general ledger and month-end/year-end closes
• Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
• Improve efficiency and spending in accounting tasks
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present results
• Review and modify accounting systems and procedures
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
• Prepare financial statements and budgets; manage payables/receivables
• Assist with tax audits and returns; coordinate audits
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies; strengthen internal controls
