Job summary

CohnReznick is seeking an experienced SEC reporting professional to manage external financial statements and filings for public clients. You will lead technical accounting research and coordinate with auditors to ensure compliant disclosures under US GAAP.

The role requires strong leadership across multiple projects, CPA certification, and extensive SEC reporting experience, with opportunities to mentor staff and drive client-ready financial reporting improvements.

Qualifications

• Five (5+) years of related progressive experience in public accounting or similar accounting fields.
• Direct experience with SEC reporting (Regulation S-X and S-K) and preparation of financial statements and footnotes.
• Experience leading teams and multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prepare the external SEC financial statements and filing processes, including MD&A and footnotes.
• Oversee technical accounting research and documentation of new guidance.
• Monitor FASB, IASB, SEC, and PCAOB activities and assess effects on client reporting.
• Research disclosure requirements of new standards for client policies and documents.
• Coordinate with clients and external auditors, review drafts, and prepare disclosure checklists.
• Provide training, mentoring, and participation in external public company reporting.
• Organize and communicate status of assignments and projects.
• Identify business development opportunities and build client relationships.
