Job summary

AccruePartners is building a high-visibility corporate accounting team in Charlotte, offering exposure across technical accounting, financial reporting, audits, and strategic initiatives. The role sits in a growing finance function with leadership access and opportunities to impact the business beyond traditional accounting.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of progressive accounting experience, with Big 4 exposure and a strong GAAP foundation.

Qualifications

• Approximately 2–4 years of progressive accounting experience; 3–4 years ideal.
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred, Big 4 or other large firm especially relevant.
• Strong technical accounting foundation and understanding of GAAP.
• Actively progressing toward CPA completion.
• Analytically minded, curious, and comfortable digging into numbers.

Responsibilities

• Partner with accounting leadership on high-impact accounting and finance initiatives.
• Support technical accounting, financial reporting, audit, and broader financial-readiness efforts.
• Work through complex accounting matters and provide clarity around financial activity.
• Help strengthen processes, improve financial visibility, and prepare for growth.
• Take ownership of accounting questions and projects requiring research and critical thinking.
