Job summary

Körber is seeking a Technical Account Manager in Atlanta, GA to serve as the primary technical and commercial contact for parcel automation and material handling solutions across the customer lifecycle.

You will provide strategic technical guidance, assess system performance using KPIs, and collaborate with engineering, operations, and sales to drive value-driven improvements and growth. Strong domain knowledge and travel readiness are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Automation, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in technical account management, sales engineering, systems integration, or field engineering within parcel/postal automation.
• Deep knowledge of high-speed parcel sortation technologies (singulation, cross-belt, shoe sorters, tilt-tray, pocket sorters, conveyors).
• Working knowledge of data capture technology: vision systems, 1D/2D barcode scanners, dimensioners (DWS), and weight-in-motion scales.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical advisor and trusted point of contact for strategic customer accounts.
• Conduct regular business reviews and KPI analyses to identify optimization opportunities.
• Develop recommendations for system optimization, preventive maintenance, and upgrades.
• Support sales engineering and business development with technical proposals and workshops.
• Translate complex requirements into clear technical specifications for delivery teams.
