Job summary

Mattermost is seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager to act as a trusted technical advisor for U.S. Federal and enterprise customers.

You will lead secure deployments, drive cloud and on‑premise architectures, and collaborate with product and engineering to ensure compliant, scalable solutions. You will collaborate with teams across security, DevSecOps, and customer success to deliver on strategic goals, manage risk, and maintain documentation for audits and governance.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in technical account management or similar customer-facing role.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, containers, and cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on scripting with Python, Go, or Node.js.
• Solid cybersecurity and secure system architecture understanding.
• Experience with DevSecOps tools and workflows (GitHub, Jenkins, Jira, Terraform).

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and deployments for strategic enterprise and U.S. Federal customers.
• Design secure, scalable architectures across cloud, on-premise, hybrid, and air-gapped environments.
• Guide customers on authentication/identity (SSO, SAML, OAuth) and DevOps integrations.
• Provide proactive guidance to minimize risk and ensure long-term success.
• Serve as primary technical contact and collaborate with product/engineering/support.
