Job summary

Aspen Technology seeks a Senior Technical Support Engineer to join our Supply Chain team, focusing on optimization and scheduling technologies. You will resolve complex technical issues, train customers, and collaborate across teams to deliver value in production planning and blending solutions.

The role requires a strong engineering background, 5+ years of experience, and familiarity with AspenTech software such as PIMS and Scheduling tools. Some travel is expected to support global customers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's in engineering.
5+ years in relevant roles.
Strong understanding of Chemical Engineering principles.
Experience with AspenTech supply chain software.
Willingness to travel up to 25%, sometimes internationally.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service and troubleshoot complex technical issues for AspenTech solutions.
Escalate issues and drive cross-functional resolutions within AspenTech.
Deliver intermediate/advanced training on AspenTech products and applications.
Develop training materials for new releases and applications.
Conduct pre-sales consultations to identify customer problems and propose solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and understand their business needs.
Collaborate with other AspenTech teams to pursue business opportunities.
Coach teammates to enhance technical skills and contribution.
