Job summary

Workday is seeking a Senior Sourcing Manager on the Technology Sourcing Team to drive software/SaaS procurement and related technology engagements for the Financial Services and Spend Management Organization in the United States. You will conduct spend and market analysis, lead RFx processes, and negotiate contracts while fostering strong supplier relationships.

The role requires 8+ years in procurement/sourcing with strong communications, negotiation, and strategic thinking.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of direct experience in Procurement, Sourcing, or related fields with focus on Technology/IT procurement or equivalent combined experience + a relevant bachelor’s degree
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers

Responsibilities

• Perform spend and market analysis and lead RFx activity for software/SaaS, hardware, data center, and cloud categories
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to optimize cost and value
• Identify strategic improvements, including new technologies and contract consolidation
• Support auxiliary sourcing requests in technology areas such as hardware, data centers, and public cloud
