Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Technology Solutions Advanced Specialist (Service Owner) to lead complex, cross-system analysis across Pearson product, platform, and data initiatives. This role partners with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Data, Security, Operations, and leadership to translate business needs into scalable, maintainable technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5–8+ years of business analysis, systems analysis, data analysis, or technology delivery experience.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives in Agile, hybrid, or enterprise environments.
• Experience with systems integration, APIs, data flows, reporting, and platform modernization.
• IIBA/Agile certs or Pearson assessments experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end analysis for complex initiatives across multiple Pearson systems and stakeholders.
• Use AI-assisted analysis for requirement synthesis, gap detection, and data insight generation.
• Facilitate discovery workshops, design alignment sessions, and cross-functional reviews.
• Translate business objectives into product capabilities, data requirements, and delivery artifacts.
• Own requirements strategy, traceability, impact assessments, and risk identification.
