Capital One seeks a Principal Risk Specialist to join the Technology SOX Governance (TSG) team, ensuring technology controls comply with internal and external regulations. You will oversee routine risk activities and collaborate enterprise-wide to implement strategic risk solutions.

Responsibilities include governance, design challenges, testing readiness, issues management, and driving continuous process improvements in technology risk and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Military experience.
• 3+ years of Information Systems Risk Management, IT Audit, or IT Compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Control Governance: Ensure Tech controls operate effectively and provide risk consulting for assigned portfolio.
• Control Maintenance: Advise on control design and maintain effective controls for internal/external testing.
• Testing Readiness & Support: Perform preassessments of Tech SOX controls to determine sufficiency and effectiveness before formal testing.
• Issues Management: Provide consultation and challenge of identified issues; assess impact, remediation, and closure.
• Strategic Delivery: Contribute to process improvements within the technology risk and control domain.
