Capital One’s Technology SOX Governance (TSG) team seeks a Principal Risk Specialist to ensure technology critical processes meet regulatory requirements. You will oversee risk and control activities, collaborating with stakeholders to implement strategic risk management solutions that support stability and growth.

The role emphasizes governance, control design oversight, testing readiness, issues management, and continuous process improvements within the technology risk domain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Military experience.
• At least 3 years of Information Systems Risk Management, IT Audit, or IT Compliance Experience.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
• Experience with regulatory standards and control testing.

Responsibilities

• Control Governance: Ensure Tech controls operate effectively and are compliant.
• Control Maintenance: Advise on control design and maintain effective controls.
• Testing Readiness & Support: Preassess Tech SOX controls prior to formal testing.
• Issues Management: Advise on issues, assess impact, and drive remediation.
• Strategic Delivery: Drive continuous process improvements in tech risk and controls.
