Job summary

Capital One is seeking an energetic Tech Risk & Analysis professional for the Plano, TX area to join the Audit team as a Sr. Associate, Tech Risk & Analysis.

You will execute tests on critical technology functions, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity while assessing risks and communicating findings. You will work in a hybrid setting, spend roughly 3 days per week on-site, and collaborate with partners across the Audit group to ensure high-quality, timely results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in technology, cybersecurity, auditing, or risk management.
• Experience in cloud computing (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and controls.

Responsibilities

• Execute test procedures of critical technology functions, cloud-based infrastructure, cybersecurity, risk management, application, and third-party management.
• Perform risk assessments and communicate issues, risks and recommendations to management.
• Operate independently and meet project schedules and standards.
• Prepare clear, organized documentation to support work performed.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key business partners and Audit group.
• Leverage data analytics in planning and fieldwork phases of audit.
• Follow up on audit actions to ensure timely remediation.
• Seek learning opportunities to enhance skills and competencies.
