Job summary

Capital One is seeking an energetic, self-motivated Tech Risk & Analysis professional to join the Tech Audit team in a hybrid role. You will evaluate technology and cybersecurity risks, conduct audits of cloud-based environments, and communicate findings to management.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in technology/cyber or risk assessment, strong analytical skills, and a drive for quality. This position offers a hybrid work model and location flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
• 2+ years of experience in technology, cybersecurity, and/or technology risk assessment.
• Experience auditing or assessing technology risk in financial services or banking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute test procedures of critical technology functions, cloud-based infrastructure, cybersecurity, risk management, application, and third-party management.
• Perform risk assessments of business activities and communicate issues, risks and recommendations to all levels of management.
• Operate independently and ensure work is completed to schedule and high-quality standards.
• Prepare clear, organized documentation to support work performed.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key business partners and the Audit group.
• Leverage data and analytical tools during planning and fieldwork phases of audit delivery.
• Proactively follow-up on agreed audit actions to ensure management delivers commitments within timescales.
• Proactively seek learning opportunities to enhance skills and competencies related to role.
